Ingredients
1 small carrot, rough chopped
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 cup coconut water or orange juice
1 fresh or frozen banana
1-2 dates, pitted
2 tablespoons raw walnuts or cashews, soaked overnight in water
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 teaspoon maca powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 -2 cups coconut or almond milk
Instructions
1. In a blender, combine the carrot, turmeric, and coconut water. Blend until completely smooth and no carrot chunks remain, adding water if needed to thin. Pour into a tall glass
2. Rinse the blender out. Combine the banana, dates, nuts, hemp seeds, maca powder, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding milk if needed to reach your desired consistency. Pour over the carrot mixture and stir gently to swirl. Enjoy!
